Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Rocio Injector · Rocio Olea, APRN · Pembroke Pines, FL
What is facial balancing?
Facial balancing is Rocio's specialty: assessing the whole face in proportion and profile, then using small, deliberate amounts of filler and Botox only where they bring the features into harmony. Read what that means in practice.
Which filler brands do you use?
Versa, RHA and Evolysse, which are hyaluronic-acid fillers, and Radiesse, a calcium-based filler used for structure. For Botox, Rocio uses Botox only. Hyaluronidase, which dissolves hyaluronic-acid filler, is kept at the studio.
Is there a deposit, and what is the cancellation policy?
A $65 deposit is taken when you book and goes toward your treatment. If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit is forfeited.
Do you take insurance?
No. Aesthetic treatments are not covered by insurance, and Rocio Injector does not bill insurance for anything. Current pricing is shown when you book, and Rocio confirms the exact cost with you before anything begins.
What numbing is used?
A topical numbing cream before treatment, and injectable lidocaine where it helps. The fillers themselves also contain lidocaine, a local anaesthetic.
What should I avoid after Botox or filler?
For the first four hours, don't touch or rub the treated area, and stay upright: no bending over or lying flat. For 24 hours, skip exercise that makes you sweat, and alcohol. Then leave your face alone for two weeks, with no facials or massage over the treated areas, so the product stays where it was placed.
Is there a follow-up?
Yes. Rocio sees you again at two weeks, when Botox has taken full effect and filler has settled, to check the result and make any small adjustment.
Who oversees the practice?
Rocio Olea is an APRN licensed in Florida and practices under a supervising physician and written protocols, as Florida requires for aesthetic medicine.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Consultations, treatment and aftercare are in English or Spanish, whichever you prefer.
How long does Botox last?
Botox typically lasts three to four months, depending on the area treated and how quickly your body metabolizes it. Most patients return for their next treatment around the three-month mark to keep results consistent.
What's the difference between Botox and filler?
Botox relaxes the muscles that cause movement-related lines, such as frown lines and crow's feet. Dermal filler adds volume, restoring structure in areas like the cheeks, lips, and under-eyes. Many treatment plans use both, aimed at different concerns.
Does treatment hurt?
Most patients describe a quick pinch rather than significant pain. A topical numbing option is available for more sensitive areas, and most treatments take just minutes.
How much does treatment cost?
Botox is billed per unit, filler per syringe, and other services at a flat rate. Current pricing is shown when you book through Vagaro, and Rocio confirms the exact cost with you at your consultation before anything begins.
How do I book a consultation?
Every treatment plan starts with a consultation, not a walk-in jab. Book directly through our online scheduler, and we'll talk through your goals before anything is planned.
Where is the practice located?
Rocio Injector is at 2110 N Flamingo Rd in Pembroke Pines, FL, inside Jossy Beauty Studio.
This is general education, not a treatment plan. What you actually need depends on your anatomy, muscle strength, and goals — Rocio determines that with you in person.
